How to update PAF file for Postman
 
USING DOWNLOADABLE SOFTWARE FROM DMS

STEP 1 - DOWNLOAD THE FILE
  1. Register with and login to the DMS Support Site
  2. Click on Downloads to display your authorised downloads.
  3. Click the green Download button and you will be taken to our FTP service 
  4. Click the Download button. And you will be asked if you wish to Open or Save the file – NEVER CHOOSE OPEN
     
  5. Select the Save or Save As option.
  6. Navigate to a temporary location where you want the file downloaded to – DO NOT choose the folder where the software is installed
  7. IMPORTANT – Take note of where you save the file to (the Desktop is a convenient location)
  8. Click Save
  9. The download will begin – it may take some time to complete

STEP 2 -EXTRACT THE FILE

  1. The POSTman files have been compressed in zip format for faster downloading and must be extracted.
  2. Your operating system may have the ability to work with Compressed Folders and in this case follow the steps through the wizard to uncompress the files.
  3. Alternately you can download and use a third party zip utility such as WinZip www.winzip.com (free trial available) or ZipGenius www.zipgenius.it (free software) 
  4. If there are error messages during the extraction it is likely that the file was not fully downloaded from the Support Site.
  5. Use the Details view in Windows Explorer to check that the file is the correct size – if not you will have to download the whole file again.

STEP 3 -INSTALL THE SOFTWARE

  1. Copy the extracted folder to the computer it needs to be installed/updated on
  2. Log on as an administrator user
  3. Run the file setup.exe in the extracted folder and complete the installation steps.
